Two of My Favorite Things...

Hello! I have a timely card for Spring...well, the truth is, I had this Bunny in the Tulips stamp for awhile, and when the tulips started popping up in the neighbor's yard last week, that spurred me to ink up this cutie image. Two of my favorite things (and I have many, are bunnies and tulips - so this image had my name on it, lol). I kept the card layout and design simple to keep the stamped image the main focus. Below is a close-up of the Copic Coloring on the image.

Below, is the card interior with coordinating colors and design.

I Lift Up My Eyes

Happy Friday! I have a card to share that is sort of a new style/flavor for me. I don't make a lot of cards with flowers, yet alone large ones. No reason, just prefer coloring little people, lol. The flower on this card was created using My Favorite Things Die-namics Rolled Flower Die. It is purposed for rolling/quilling to create a 3-D effect, but I wanted a big bloom for a big scripture that is pretty affirming. Don't you love that scripture! It reminds me that my help IS from the Lord. Praise God!

The little bird embellishment is out of proportion to the big bloom...but, hey, in card world, anything goes...right? LOL Below is a photo of the card interior with coordinating design. The interior sentiment is computer generated and written by yours truly.

Below is a close-up of the big bloom detail and cute bird - he's got a little glitter, so he's glistening.

One Fine Chick!

Hello! I have a card featuring Mo Manning's cute image "Chickies", perfect for Copic coloring. I was frustrated photographing this card, as I'm not sure what's going on with my camera, but nevertheless, I hope you can see the details of my card without too much trouble. I'll have to do some troubleshooting...

Below, is a photo of the card interior. I wanted to stamp something coordinating with the chickies on the card front, so I reached for "Crazy for Chickens" by Whipper Snapper and used the cute bowl of eggs.

I added some JudiKins Glaze adhesive to the eggs in the bowl on the card interior, as well as the red boots the little girl is wearing on the card front. I don't know how well it photographed, but I wanted to make her boots rubbery-looking.

Enjoy Every Moment!

Good Morning! I recently purchased some retired PSX large image stamps, that are finely detailed to color with my Copic Sketch Markers. This is the first of the 3 that I purchased, called "Portland Head" Lighthouse. I paired up the image with a new paper designer that I've just discovered, "Maja Designs" with their nautical paper pad called "Life By the Sea".  I love this paper pad selection...so many pretty designs and colors. I kept the embellishment of this card to a minimum and the layout clean to not distract from the pretty image. Below, is a photo of the card interior. I added a seagull button from "Dress It Up" that had a shank...gave me an excuse to use my button shank remover for the first time! It worked like a charm! Love, love, love it!

Good Morning! I have a birthday card that I made this week...I love sending surprise cards to people...People that don't expect a card from me. Always fun to do! A Sister's Special Day

My sister, Dianne's birthday falls on Easter Sunday this year, April 20th. What a special day for a birthday - One filled with bright hope for tomorrow. This card is 5"x5" and features a whimsical digital image by Mo Manning. I'm not sure if it is easily seen, but I added a few gold adhesive sequins for the candle tops. The photo below is of the card interior...because of the front scalloped and curved edge, I was limited in the space inside for design, but it all worked out fine. Fill This Day With Joy!

Hello faithful followers! It has been another year (sigh) since I've created a handmade card due to life's circumstances. I have jumped back in to my hobby and have a card that I made a few months ago and just got around to photographing it. I'm not the quickest blogger, but hey, I try, lol.

Sometimes, we just need a little joy in our life to take us away from the heaviness of the world, don't we? The bicycle focal point just spoke to me and I ran with the green of the grass, the pink of the bicycle seat and gave it a Springtime flavor. The photo below is of the card interior. Just click on an image to view it larger. Thank you for visiting!
