This is the "Bayou Hotel" in Havre de Grace on the boardwalk. It was once an upscale, busy hotel in the 1930's, 1940's, 1950's and 1960's. It has since been converted to private condo living and the architecture is a beautiful companion to the boardwalk landscape. Tom's Aunt Mildred lives in one of the condos, now. And before I forget I want to give all photo credit to my husband, Tom Borneman.

Oh my goodness, Linda - this is a stunning photo and what a stunning building!!! Where exactly is it? I think I mentioned to you awhile back how jealous I am of where you live. I just love the Bay area (I think it goes way back to when I was super young...seeing the Bay Bridge and getting that first whiff of salt air was my little mind's cue that the beach wasn't too far away (I'm a Pittsburgher, born & bred)! Thanks for posting this beautiful eye candy, and if you get a sec, I'd love to hear more about this place!
