Day 4 of Sneak Peak Week

Good Morning! And it's a busy morning here, as this is Day 4, the final day of Clear Dollar Stamps' Sneak Peek Week. Tomorrow, all the previewed stamp sets that have been shared all week here and on my fellow CDS Design Team Members' blogs, will be available for purchase, March 1st! I know that you will find many stamp sets to choose and I hope you have fun shopping and browsing the CDS site.

Today, I'm previewing 2 stamp sets, and the first set that I'm sharing is the SOM (Stamp of the Month), called "Terrific Little Tree" and is FREE with any $50.00 purchase from Clear Dollar Stamps! This little set is so adorable and when it came to my mailbox, I couldn't wait to open it up and ink it up! There are apples, lemons, oranges, more leaves and flowers to add to the little tree, as well as cute little bird and a few sentiments! It is truly a great value and just precious! They fit perfectly in a rectangle horizontally on a 5.5" x 4.25" size card! How cool is that? The March SOM is free with a $50.00 purchase at Clear Dollar Stamps and is available March 1st.

It's Sneak Peek Week!

Good Morning! Today is the beginning of Sneak Peek Week at Clear Dollar Stamps, and I have some fabulous soon-to-be-released stamps sets to share with you. The card above was created using "Circle Chit Chat", a stamp set that includes a bunny, a chick and a bee, along with some coordinating sentiments. For this card, I used several different pieces of scrap scrapbook paper that has been lying around my stamp nook for eons, so it was fun to find a fun and creative to way to use them up. "Circle Chit Chat" is available for purchase on March 1st. Other Clear Dollar Stamps' design team members that are previewing "Circle Chit Chat" are:

Okay, here's my deets:

Some Bunny...

For this second card using "Circle Chit Chat" I envisioned a bunny jumping over several hills and vales, so I hand cut the 3 hills and sponged heavily the edges to bring some definition to the hills. The clouds in the sky were sponged using a homemade cloud template. Tomorrow, I don't have a stamp set to share with you, but the rest of the CDS design team members will have several to share, so be sure to visit their blogs (found on the right sidebar). I will have another stamp set to share on Saturday, February 27th, so please visit back here then. "Circle Chit Chat" can be purchased from Clear Dollar Stamps on March 1st. Okay, here's my deets:

Happy Valentine's Day!

Love is in the air! Wink, wink! I hope that you are planning a wonderful Valentine's Day or have one planned by your significant other. I was upstairs in my stamping nook all day, trying to make some headway through my March CDS Sneak Peeks, and I did finish one, but then I wanted to make a card for the love of my life, my darling husband, Tom. And wouldn't you know...he never comes up to my stamp nook when I'm stamping, but tonight...he came up 3 times! Do you think he knows??? ; ) Anyway, I have never made him a card and thought that I'd surprise him, and besides with 44" of snow on the ground, it was hard to get out and about to do any card or present shopping. History Breaking Snow in Maryland!

Hello from blizzard-stricken northern Maryland! It has been unbelievable here as we have survived two back-to-back snowstorms that brought 24" inches from Storm #1 and 3 days later, 20" more inches! Maryland does not usually see that kind of snow, but rather 5-6" snowstorms, so, as you can imagine, this has immobilized most people and kept them prisoner at home. Two days later, we are still digging out and some people are still waiting for their streets to be plowed. And as if that wasn't bad enough, there is a more snow in the forecast for Monday! Did anyone say Key West??

I had hoped to have a card to share, but I have come down with a bad head cold and have not felt well enough to create one. I have been busy trying to complete all of my March CDS sneak peeks, but hopefully by the weekend, I may have a special Valentine's Day Card that I want to make for my guy.

Thanks for visiting and see you soon!
